3rd Transnational Project Meeting in Bilbao

On January 30, 2025, Media Creativa hosted the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of the Green Tour Project. The partnership worked on the progress of the Work Packages, collaborating, and sharing ideas and strategies for planning, bringing us closer to our mission of promoting sustainability in hospitality.

Important advancements

The meeting kicked off with a welcome and a presentation of the agenda. Throughout the day, we focused on key areas of the project:

  • Project Management – We reviewed the status of the progress made so far and outlined the next steps to ensure the project’s success.
  • Development of Training Content – After peer-reviewing our educational materials on green entrepreneurship and ecotourism, we discussed next steps including translations, final versions and integration into the digital platform.
  • Creation and development of the Trainers’ Toolkit – Discussions centred around how to continue with the development of the Practical Activities and Guide.
  • E-learning Platform and Informative Videos – We discussed on the work plan and guidelines for the development of these resources.
  • Dissemination and Sustainability Strategy – We reviewed progress on social media, newsletters, and the website, ensuring that our community continues to grow and engage with Green Tour’s impact.

A shared vision

While the agenda was packed with key topics, we engaged in interesting discussions throughout the day, creating a great space for debate among all partners. Every discussion and decision reinforced our vision for ensuring high-quality content of our results, encouraging a more sustainable tourism industry.

Of course, there was also time to connect, share experiences, and enjoy the beauty of Bilbao—a city known for its sustainable transformation and green practices.

Next steps

With clear objectives and deadlines ahead, we are now focusing on finalizing our training content, further developing the e-learning platform, and increasing our visibility to ensure that more people benefit from the Green Tour initiative.

A huge thank you to all partners for your dedication and enthusiasm! Let’s continue working!
